"Fairly convenient" to O.C. attractions and geared to all sorts of travelers, this hub has a "perfect balance of kid-friendliness and adult sophistication", not to mention a Starbucks and Kinko's in the lobby; reviewers revere the "excellent buffet breakfast", "great exercise room" ("well-stocked" with "water and anti-bacterial wipes") and the "huge" spa and heated indoor/outdoor pool, but they also report housekeeping that could improve and decor that's "nothing to write home about."

The bar, food and the sushi bar food were excellent in quality and service.

We did not like the paid overnight parking. We did not like the ice cold swimming pool water.

This Marriott hotel is aging and needs another room makeover. Typical of many Marriott hotels, the rooms are clean, nice and comfortable (we liked the flat screen TV and the down comforter on the bed very much) but the walls lack decoration. Would have been nice to see photographic art of the beautiful coastal scenery nearby. We also really enjoyed having both a sushi bar and a Starbucks in the hotel lobby. ...read more
